This privacy policy governs your use of the mobile application Id photo maker (package name: com.idphotomaker.passportphotos) (referred to as the "App"). The App provides biometric-grade passport, visa, and ID photo creation powered by on-device Artificial Intelligence.
1. Permissions We Request & Why
To provide its core image editing and sizing features, the App requires access to certain functions of your mobile device. We only request permissions that are absolutely necessary:
- Camera Permission: Allows you to snap a new photo directly within the App to generate your passport or ID photo.
- Storage/Gallery Permission: Allows you to select an existing photo from your library to edit and to save the processed high-resolution ID photos back to your device.
You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings, although doing so will prevent the App from capturing or saving photos.
2. Data Collection and Usage
We do not collect, store, or sell any personal data or biometric information from the images you process. However, to support development, maintain stability, and display ads, we work with third-party service providers who may gather anonymized data:
- Advertising: The App displays advertisements served by third-party ad networks (specifically Google AdMob). These networks may use unique device identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID or Apple Identifier for Advertisers) to serve personalized or contextual advertisements.
- Analytics & Diagnostics: We use Firebase Crashlytics and Google Analytics to monitor application performance, detect system bugs, and identify crashes. This data is strictly anonymous and does not contain personal information, photos, or biometric profiles.

4. Biometric Data Protection
The biometric alignment and face-isolation features in the App use math-based algorithms executing on your local device CPU/GPU via TensorFlow Lite. We do not build database profiles of your facial features. Your biometric markers remain isolated inside the temporary volatile memory of your device and are wiped instantly when the image is compiled or the App is closed.
5. Children's Privacy
Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Since we do not transmit photos or personal profiles to our servers, we protect minors' biometric privacy by default. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has provided third-party networks with information, please contact those networks directly.
